Jarrah
Jarrah is native Australian timber grown in Western Australia. It’s a popular choice due to its striking deep red colouring. The density, durability and strength of this species make it an ideal choice for decking, outdoor use and furniture.
This timber is also regarded as a great choice for outdoor use due to its weather, rot and termite resistance. It’s also recognised as being bush fire resistant and thereby used for a number of residential and commercial applications.
Swadlings are proud stockist of Parkside Timber’s Jarrah Flooring range, which is grown, produced and manufactured in Australia. This decking is certified by internationally recognised the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certificate (PEFC) – denoting that all products are sourced from sustainably managed forests.
The durability of this product is Class 2 Above Ground.
Certification:
- Manufactured to comply with AS 2796.
- Fire rated in accordance with AS 3959-2009 and BAL 19 as a minimum.
- Spotted Gum, Silvertop Ash and Red Ironbark are fire rated to BAL 29.
- Chain of Custody as per AS 4707-2008 PEFC/AFS.
