NSW Spotted Gum

NSW Spotted Gum

NSW Spotted Gum is a premium, native Australian hardwood often used for internal and external structural applications. It’s a popular choice of flooring due to its durability, strength and pleasing decorative finish.

Unlike its sister species in Queensland, NSW Spotted Gum is lighter and slightly more uniformed in colouring, depending on where it’s grown.

NSW Spotted Gum has a classified durabilty of Class 1 rating Above Gound. It can also last for up to 40 years.

Swadlings proudly stock NSW Spotted Gum by Boral. The range has precision-milled, solid strip flooring products, providing a wear layer that can be refinished many times over, enabling a lifetime of enjoyment. Boral flooring is manufactured with a tongue and groove profile that is also end-matched for a tight board-to-board fit.

NSW Spotted Gum has a natural fire resistance. Its fire retarding properties make it suitable for use in many bushfire prone areas under Australian Standard AS3959.
