Ironbark Flooring – Red

Red ironbark is very distinctive given its deep red to red-brown colouring and has been a preferred structural flooring choice of timber for more than 200 years.

Ironbark is a high quality, premium timber native to Australia which is naturally strong, durable and relatively termite resistant. It’s also a comparably very heavy species.

It is highly regarded within the Indigenous Community who use the species to make spear throwers and use its bark to treat injuries.

Swadlings are proud stockist of Parkside Timber’s Red Ironbark Flooring range which is grown, produced and manufactured in Australia. This decking is certified by the internationally recognised Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certificate (PEFC) – denoting that all products are sourced from sustainably managed forests.

The durability of this product is Class 1 Above Ground.

Manufactured to comply with AS 2796.
Fire rated in accordance with AS 3959-2009 and BAL 19 as a minimum.
Spotted Gum, Silvertop Ash and Red Ironbark are fire rated to BAL 29.
Chain of Custody as per AS 4707-2008 PEFC / AFS.
