I-Joists are an engineered timber joist designed to perform better than conventional joists.

Swadlings proudly stock SmartJoist engineered timber by Tilling, manufactured with Laminated Veneer Lumber (LVL) flanges on top and bottom with an Oriented Stand Board (OSB). Tilling has the widest range of SmartJoist products on the market.

SmartJoists are engineered for heavy-duty performance. Ultrasonically graded LVL is bonded with exterior adhesive for more load carrying capacity.  The webs are made from stable and strong Oriented Strand Board (OSB) for superior strength and consistent performance.

All material is H2S treated for termite protection when used south of the Tropic of Capricorn (south of Rockhampton, QLD). Full H2 treatment is also available.
